Radical Shifts

My Website is taking a radical shift, to more experiential and less of a focus on developing workshops. Within the last 6 months, I have been reflecting on how to use utilize my strengths in promoting my work as a sound practitioner and where my skills truly reside. What I found is that I enjoy playing for groups, particular to sound journeys where my colleagues ask me to attend as well as at the Big Beat, and various Sonica Sanctus. I had the pleasure of joining Lucas at St. Anne’s Church to play my didgeridoo as an accompaniment to other instrumentals and also to use my didgeridoo as a healing instrument while playing into people’s hearts and around their bodies.

I am more open to sharing through ceremonial and ritual. A few weeks ago Darchei Noam a synagogue where I am a member asked me to be a part of the Tubshvat Seder. Ann Marie Boudreau with two other musicians and I developed a beautiful surround sound to various songs and we created a sounds cape to each of the four elements. A short video and pictures will be provided soon on both my face book and website.

“Birth Stories” is being used in Barbara Ades Rhymtic by Nature classes for Nia as part of her choreography. A yoga centre has taken my music and is using it for their classes.

I am in the process of redefining my services and this will be completed shortly. I am hoping by the end of the month.

Warmly,
Sheri
