Welcome, it has been quite some time since I have updated my blog, more than a few months. My life has taken quite a different turn, as you can see from my website I have decided to take off one of the workshops because I require extensive training in the area of trauma which I currently do not have and am considering at this time. For those who have been reading my blog updates they were written by Gary Diggins, he edited my blog updates as writing presents a challenge given my disability. I have decided now to write my own blogs without any editing.  Summer is here and to stay, it is a time of renewal for me and reflection.

 

Within the last month I have been attending a 7 week series with Gary Diggins for sound healing, continuing to build a solid foundation. Themes such as how to build community, loving kindness, fear, vunerability and learning to stay present through mindfulness practice has been at the forefront. The breath and depth that is shared through voice and sounding is sacred.  Continuing to learn how to use my didgerdoo in various healing journies and through rhythmic sound has been important.

 

A few weeks ago I attended Ann Marie Bourdreau’s Sound healing Journey at Vivace Studio. My goal for this summer is to access circular breathing through daily practice, and attend as Gary’s apprentice other venues and opportunites to play. I am a CASP member and you can access this through our website. I am very interested in providing a one night workshop with Gary for Adults with Learning Disabilties and I hope to have this take place within the next few months.

 

I am planning to have a monthly didge night at my home where all can come and jam. I look forward to writing monthly. Some of my events this month in June is to attending the two day seminar series with Barbara Marx Hubbard, and I am sitting in silence once again in the next few weeks to support my own life and practice.
